Also good for stacking them on the kitchen floor and putting your pestle and mortar atop to pound on - it's ergonometrically better for your back, and it absorbs the awful noise it makes when you pound so you don't disturb your neighbours living below you.

Yeah... handy for placing near your computer desk so you can place your feet up on it whilst typing too!

Hey, we should start a new thread - Alternative uses for phone books!

QX179R SG

i remembered once I used a phonebook to exterminate a lizard..

Fatum SG

What a mess!!

When I had cats, they were my lizard exterminators. Lizards are good, actually, they do no harm and in fact, they help to get rid of insects. However, I had a cat, Meiji, who would spot a lizard high up on the wall, and wail pathetically at me until I carried her up so she could swat at it. The times when I refused, she'd just sit at the foot of the wall wailing pathetically non-stop until I relented.

Yeah, try all of that, if not, there's always "conflict", "disagreements", "fights", etc.

If not, bloody try a thesaurus for more suggestions!

QX179R SG

no mess unlike roaches whereby after squishing them got "juices"..

shocked so i released the "pedal" to close the chute, the roach dropped to the floor & just stepped on it..

Yuuuuuucks!! I hate that 'crunchy' sensation when you step on a cockroach! Worse, it's usually a crunchy sensation, followed by a slight sliding and losing of balance because the slime and squished out innards and cockroach juices kinda make it slippery!

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeee yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerh!!!
